Leeah slowly scuffed her tan feet through the grainy sand. Her eyes scanned the lake for any sign of Alex. She sighed and sat down. She rested her head on her knees and folded her arms around her legs. Looking out at the rippling waters, Leeah breathed in the fresh air. The moist air didn't effect her powers at all, luckily for her.
She looked around once more. Blinking, she saw a sudden movement and Alex was beside her. Leeah jumped, placing her hand on her fast-paced heart. "Alex! You scared me half to death!"
