JAMIE: Jamie arose from her nap to notice that she had missed breakfast. With a groan she roused herself from the bed. The bed itself was radiating her body heat, and she wished she could go without eating, but she knew better than that. She pulled on her robe and shuffled her aching body down to the dining hall.
JACK: Jack was just coming back from his early morning run, and thought that even though he may have eaten at the mall in his quick run through, he decided to get some breakfast.
"Try harder!" he growled. "I am!" Jamie pushed herself further. She had to do this, she needed to be able to control her powers. Little did she know, her powers were already out of her control. An agonized scream tore the silence. Her eyes flew open to see her "master" lying dead on the floor. "What have I done?", she whispered. A tear rolled down her cheek, "I will never harm anyone again!"

JACK: Jack slipped through the doors at one end of the dining hall. He stretched as he took one step but froze in one instant.
JAMIE: The doors came into view and Jamie shoved on. Her mind flung open the doors in front of her as she stared across the room in a burning haze at HIM.
"Try harder!" he growled. "I am!" Jamie pushed herself further. She had to do this, she needed to be able to control her powers. Little did she know, her powers were already out of her control. An agonized scream tore the silence. Her eyes flew open to see her "master" lying dead on the floor. "What have I done?", she whispered. A tear rolled down her cheek, "I will never harm anyone again!"

JACK: Fear pulsed through his veins as he stared in shock at Jamie. Part of him wondered if she felt any better, or if she would welcome him. This part seemed to dominate his fear and he took a step toward her this time.
JAMIE: Jamie was filled with mixed feelings. She was glad to see him and wanted to say hello, but deep inside part of her mind hated him. That part seemed to take over, and plus she wanted to avoid him to keep him safe.
"Try harder!" he growled. "I am!" Jamie pushed herself further. She had to do this, she needed to be able to control her powers. Little did she know, her powers were already out of her control. An agonized scream tore the silence. Her eyes flew open to see her "master" lying dead on the floor. "What have I done?", she whispered. JACK: Jack took a step toward her, a grin parting his lips. He started walking toward her almost running over. His grin faded and he started to pout as he noticed the grimace and grim scowel slicing Jamie's face. "Hey, uh, Jamie." Jack started to blush as a gentle smile crept across his lips.
